Jane asked:
Has anyone tried this product? I wanted to try the acai and colon clease “diet” or whatever you’d prefer to call it but as I went into my local Nutrition House, they told me this product (Nature’s Plus’ Whole Food Total Body Cleanse with Acai and Exotic Superfruits) is advertised to do the same thing. It’s basically 2 in one but it advises me to take 12 tablets/day for 14 days for the INTENSIVE cleanse or 6/day for 28 days for the MAINTENANCE program. This concerns me because as far as I know, the regular or original acai and colon cleanse diet advises you to take 2 acai supplements in the morning, and 2 colon cleansers at night? Correct me if I’m wrong, I just wanted to do this correctly but it seemed logical to spend a little less money on a 2-in-1 product as opposed to 2 separate products.
All reviews and feedback are much appreciated, thank you! And I understand a good number of people look down on any sort of diet pills/supplements but this is just a personal decision so no need for negative comments.
Thank you once again !

So I heard that cleansing your colon is one of the best ways to lose weight along with a healthy diet and exercise. What is the best way to do this?

I am 5′11”, 271 lbs (was 40 pounds heavier six months ago), on Caloric Restriction losing 1-2 pounds a week. My daily supplement regiment is 3600 mg Fish Oil, 1 Men’s Multivitamin, 25 mg DHEA, 180 mg Red Wine Extract (grape seed resveritrol), and today I’m adding 1 mg Garlic extract (equal to 1000 mg actual garlic). In the evening I take 1500 mg Calcium with vitamin D, 1 generic colon cleansing tablet. My daily job give me a light low impact workout and I’m single. I want to live long enough until science discovers human negligible senescence. I’ll be 45 this April but most tell me I look to be in my early 30’s. Any suggestions as to improving my regiment and my chances of living forever? (I would even consider getting a dog if I didn’t work 12 hours a day.)

Hello, my name is Mike and I’m 19. My question is pretty self explanatory: Are supplements okay to use? Which are the least damaging and which will help me lose weight / tone fastest? I’m 6′4″ and 235 lbs, and the dilemma I’m facing is that I haven’t worked out since my rugby days, nearly 2 years ago, so I’m pretty out of shape. Ideally, I’d like to push myself down to a slim 210 or 215, and am looking for something that will help me do that fast, within a summers time hopefully (4-5 months)
where should I look for good diet plans, what about work-out routines?? If anyone could help me out (besides you colon cleanse guy), I would be very appreciative.
Thank you!

A clean colon is the foundation of good health you know.
Wow, calm down Elana. There are non invasive ways to clean a colon.
Homeopaths believe colon cleansing is an important part of good health - no one is asking you to.
